I dashed in Austin, TX for one week just on Doordash. That is what I made. Is it good or bad decide for yourself.
I made nearly 1K for 41 hours of active driving. If I adjusted the schedule my numbers would be higher. I did not do early mornings or late night shifts. Not too many people dash at that time. So you might be lucky to get better orders.
1K is a realistic goal for 40 hours of dashing in Austin market. My average order was $10. I declined nearly 80% of the orders.
Doordash sent me 2 challenges on Friday and Saturday both $15 for 15 deliveries. I did not finish them. I could, but was not in the mood.
Maybe, for new Dashers my numbers might seem great. In reality they are not. Too much time wasted.
69 hours being on-line waiting for orders. Wow!!!!!
If I was multi-apping, I probably could get at least $500 more.
My conclusion: multi-app. One app is not enough.
But you still can make up to 1K, even on 1 app. Know your market.
