One of the questions I get a lot from other Dashers is: “What are the best days and best time to dash?”
It really depends from your market. I drive in north part of Austin, TX (Cedar Park, Leander).
For me personally, Thursday-Saturday are more busy then Monday-Wednesday. Time: 5pm to 9pm is the busiest. Delivery platforms often pay extra at that time.
Friday evenings are extremely busy. Due to the volume of the orders and how under staffed restaurants are expect much longer wait time. Accept only orders which pay double on Friday evenings. Especially true for expensive quality restaurants.
Monday-Wednesday nobody can predict how busy they will be. Can be busy or slow, you never know. For full-time dashers, I recommend to make one of those days as your day-off.
Saturdays are great. Bigger orders. Larger pay outs.
But the best day to dash is Sunday. Sunday is the only day of the week which you know for sure will be busy. It has orders all day long. Expect to make at least $200 for 10-12 hour shifts. Usually it is $250+ for 12 hour shift.
Happy Dashing!!!!
