Screenshots of my husband’s DD account. As you see in January-February 2022 he got 3 challenges. 2 challenges: $75 for 15 deliveries/2 day challenge. One: $200 for 25 deliveries/3 day challenge.
At the same time, I did not get a single challenge. Why? Cause I am a full-time driver and use my doordash account on daily bases.
Truth#1. The less you drive more likely you get a challenge on Doordash. DD is trying to put as many drivers as they can back on the road. They want somebody deliver low-paying orders. DO NOT DO IT!!!!
Truth#2. Drivers have more than enough time to finish the challenge.
If you are trying to finish the challenge, start the day you got it. One day can be not enough. From my experience, in the north part of Austin 1,5 – 2 days is enough time for any challenge up to 25-30 deliveries.
Remember, to drive on one app is not the same as to multi-app. You get less orders and have to decline most of them.
To finish challenge fast and with max earnings. Be ready:
- To switch delivery zones more than ones, if needed;
- Patiently sit and wait for the good order to come your way. You might want to watch a movie or read a book. For multi-appers, it is extremely annoying.
- Btw, you still can try to multi-app just realistically evaluate the time you have to finish the challenge.
Truth#3. Schedule your Dash upfront.
Remember, you are not the only Dasher who got the challenge. To schedule your Dash upfront is a smart move.
Be picky about the orders you accept, but you can not be extremely picky.
