Drivers can get Contract violations on Doordash for:
- Being late for pick up location. I was 10 minutes late to the restaurant. Delivered food on-time. Still got it;
- Being “extremely” late to drop off location.
- Customer claims food as never delivered.
Doordash can deactivate your account for any “contract violation”.
Good news: Doordash will try to get more details from the Driver of what happened. Take it seriously. Provide as much info, as you can.
In my 3 years I had a couple violations. My Doordash account is still active:)
“Contract violations” should go away after 100 successful deliveries.
Try to have not more than 1 “contract violation” at a time. I had 2 at one point and still was able to Dash.
Guys, “contract violations” on Doordash is a normal part of the job. We all make mistakes. Do not be afraid.
Even if Doordash deactivates your account, it is not the end of the world. As an Independent Contractor you can multi-app.
