Do you know that starting January 2022 “Doordash” app requires pizza bag for all pizza deliveries?
The app asks to take a photo of your pizza bag before the pick up.
Do not have pizza bag: buy it. You will need it.
Some pizza places might give you a branded “Doordash” pizza bag for free. That’s how I got mine from “Gatti’s pizza” in Cedar Park, TX.
I also purchased a couple of non-branded pizza bags from amazon and Uber on-line store.

What happens, if to accept pizza delivery on “Doordash” and do not have a pizza bag?
I did that yesterday. I pressed “I do not have one” button in the app. Here is what I got:
The app allowed to move forward with the delivery. But “Doordash” app strongly encouraged to have a pizza bag next time. Otherwise, I may never get another pizza delivery.
Pizza bag increases chances for higher tips. Drivers who manage to deliver food hot, as a rule have higher ratings.
