Have you ever heard about the “Timestamp app”? It is a must have app for any driver on any of the delivery platforms. Especially that is true for “Doordash”.
The app looks like that:
You can easily download it from the “App Store” or “Google Play”. I would say that free version is good enough for deliveries.
I use “timestamp” mainly with Doordash. UberEats app does not allow to attach photos from your phone. Doordash does.
When you are dropping off the delivery:
- Open “timestamp app”;
- Take a photo. Save it to the photos;
- Finish the delivery on Doordash by choosing the photo you need from the photo gallery on your phone.
In the settings of the “timestamp app” you can choose what exactly you’d like to be on your “timestamp”. Here is an example.
If the Client claims food was never delivered. The only proof the Driver can present is the photo of the delivery. With “timestamp app” those photos look professional.
Dashers, make sure to take photos of each and every delivery. Can save your account from being deactivated. I keep photos of my deliveries for 2-3 days before deleting.
